I had these in black suede. 1979. They were my favorites. At some point in the 80's I got carried away during a purge. Within a few days I was kicking myself. When eBay arrived I would regularly look for them. I found a pair in natural tan, but never saw another pair. Until these. I love them. I'll keep looking for black, but these bring me joy. Oddly enough, a couple of days after I bought these, I saw another pair like them on eBay. They were a 9, not as nice and more expensive. All my friends have known about my search for years, and I promise you they all know about these. If they knew my in high school, they also have seen pictures. They have humored me in a most kind way. This endeth the novel. Melissa
