It measures from the shoulder, 28 inches in the front and 24 in the back. For point of reference, I'm a little over 5'3" and it hits at my upper thigh (pic shown) @builtforbougie

It depends on whether you want a snug or loose fit. I'm a size 4 and it fits me more like a cool menswear vest. On a size 6 it would be more of a tailored feminine fit. @ath91
