mama215 @kristyleethomas the dimensions are listed on my blue backpack, which you also liked and is identical to this. If it is not fukkwd too heavy, it might not be too big for an older child. My 13 year old has used one of these a lot and loves it, and I think it would work fine for my 10 year old when traveling.

mama215 @johnrod it is big enough, but, because it is collapsible and designed to fold up into a pouch, it is not structured not does it provide any padding other than the straps, which are padded.

mama215 @ulrishaa_ it is really not the best for carrying books. The quilted cotton ones by VB are better for that. I have had people buy this to use as a diaper bag, and I love it for track meets and amusement parks and for traveling. I prefer to carry softer things than books in this one. It is very versatile!

mama215 @ckp91 hi! Yes, I have several of these. It is made of lightweight polyester, I believe. It is durable and water resistant. It feels a bit like the fabric of an umbrella, but thicker and more textured.

mama215 @kcmc I can't model it right now, but could do so tomorrow. I cannot find my stock photos of any of the VB backpacks on, either. The best I could do for now is to add a pic of my 7 year old modeling one of the other VB backpacks. The only difference is that this one is about 2 inches taller than the one in the pic, and this does not hold its shape the same way, since it is lightweight and foldable.

mama215 @yankeemom09 this is a good size backpack, but it is not great for carrying books. The fabric is thin to make it easy to fold into a pouch, so it might be uncomfortable carrying books (no padding between your back and the books) and I'm not sure it would hold up to the weight of a lot of books. It's really better for carrying lighter things, like clothes or such. I have a lot of great book bags for sale, though!
