Am I understanding correctly that you have measured a "small" at a 40" bust? And, would you possibly tell me a "Medium" measurement armpit to armpit lying flat? persuasions @swallowtails hi huni. Thank you for the compliment. Yes the bust on the small is 40" (which is 20" measured flat from underarm to underarm). The medium would be 2" inches larger, 42" bust. The small is recommended for a 2/4, medium 6/8, & large 10/12. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have anymore questions 😘💕 Xo 💋
