Hello! I was wondering if you use any scented laundry detergent or fabric softener. Due to several autoimmune disorders, I have an extreme hyper Sensitivity to perfumes/fragrances/scents/odors ( I can smell what no one else can!) They make me incredibly ill and give me excruciating migraines. Also I am allergic to Tide, Clorox two and Febreeze (even the free and clear/gentle.)
I only use free and clear products.

@hikingcolorado Unfortunately, washing it with unscented products won’t take out the scented products. All shampoos detergent etc. are made with silicone products so basically they melt to the fibers or hair etc. to smooth it out. Once it’s set by heat it’s there for good. While there are tricks to lessen the scents, I am so sensitive that I react.

@nmala661 Oh, then I'd probably stay away from Poshmark clothing because I'm sure people have had it stored or hung with other clothing. That must be hard to deal with. Although I don't use perfume because of my job, I can't imagine what you must have to do.

@hikingcolorado it’s a tough issue. Hard to deal with in this highly scented world. Believe it or not, I have found quite a few people who use free and clear products due to sensitivities.
