@debra_risner supply and demand, just like the stock market, rare limited release items with the supreme brand goes like that. If you buy supreme you know how difficult it is to get their pieces. Plus poshmark takes a 20% + tax sellers fee on all sales. It’s the poshmark price. That’s what you get when you don’t cop on release date in the 6 seconds before the limited item sells out on the supreme website. You should already know this friend. @debra_risner all supreme items which sellout and are released in such limited quantities, resell for much higher price than their retail price. That’s how it is, the most popular items are collectible collaborations being as they are exclusive and produced in limited quantities.

@debra_risner and FYI it didn’t cost $46 I also paid shipping and handling “which is a lot for supreme items” plus taxes which is also a lot on top so it was about $76 total 🥂 and yes retail is aldehyde lower than resell value on rare collectible items. That’s the same with everything.

@debra_risner well the your pointing out the price tag makes no difference since you’re not a collector and you don’t know the value of this brand/collaborative item I’d say this item is not for you. There’s no point in you having interest in this thermos when you can get a basic thermos from Walmart because as you said “you don’t care about the brand or it’s collectible notoriety and stock value” in your case it wouldn’t make sense to pay $200 for a supreme branded thermos.

@debra_risner In a supreme collectors instance it would make total sense. A collector wouldn’t so much as use this item it would be for collecting and display purpose more than for use or functionality. This is what the brand is known for.

So that people can’t steal it to imitate fake listings using our receipt.
