@paulavw hi very sorry it took so long to answer. I believe it's made from vicrose the material is soft. the kimono could be warm for almost anything. my granddaughter is 23 and she wears it with a pair of jeans and a top. my older sister where's it at the beach in Florida as a cover-up. I've sold a lot of these and everybody's been happy. Thanks for checking me out and you have a great day.
