fluffy143Great pics of all those cute little shelter babies. Hopefully soon finding new safe homes💕

May 21Reply

cricketlee001@fluffy143 They have a great program where the mama was spayed and she'll be returned to the original owners at no cost. Kittens are always popular, who can resist a baby kitten?? 😻🐾🐈😊

tweedydo2Cat Whiskers are attached to tissues that have multiple nerve endings. These nerves are sensitive to even the slightest movement of air can detect objects without seeing them an advantage in the dark.Since whiskers are sensitive to pressure, cats use them to determine the position and movement of an object or of prey. also help to measure the width of an opening before they attempt to go through it. What do you think? Did the function of cat whiskers come about by evolution? Or was it designed?

Sep 07Reply

cricketlee001@tweedydo2 Howdy! Thank you for your info packed post, and what a wonderful question! I believe a cat whiskers and how they aid cats is just yet another wonderful example of the Lord's boundless creativity. If you already haven't read it, Dr. Hugh Ross's book "Hidden Treasures n the book of Job" discusses many of the gifts the Lord gave us between man and animals, including the bond we have with them.

tigress12Thank you for your sweet comment about my kitty, Clemita. I just adopted a little Lilac Point Siamese girl who was sick and terrorized. I’m working to help her heal. 🐯

Oct 15Reply

cricketlee001@tigress12 That is wonderful! My kitty soulmate is Erma Bombeck (the longhair tabby) She had been very badly abused. It took a long time to get her to trust me, but it's definitely worth it, because now she's all over me like a cheap suit! 😹 But even now if I make a sudden move she will run away.

Oct 15Reply

tigress12@cricketlee001 Oh, that’s so good to hear. Little Lotus won’t voluntarily allow me to pick her up, but she now “marks” me and tells me she loves me with her blinking eyes. She bolts quickly too, at any sound or quick movement, but I’m hoping she will continue to trust me more and more. I think they did surgery on her when she was already sick - and she was likely terrorized by children and siblings too. She’s so much better after two weeks and antibiotics.

cricketlee001@tigress12 Hello 😺 How is Lotus doing?

Nov 02Reply

tigress12Lotus is doing great! She’s healing well and now sits on my lap at times. No hissing anymore - and she can now make tiny meow sounds. So cute and sweet. She sleeps in a second floor cushy kitty condo now, instead of in a corner and is very comfortable. Lotus purrs like a freight train! 😆💜

Nov 02Reply

cricketlee001@tigress12 Yea! 🌠 That's all great news! 😺😺😺
