This is about as cute as it gets: a classic Matryoshka egg, painted with British Royal soldiers, with a little battalion of beefeater figurines inside! One appears to be the commander, with 5 guards under his watch. Vintage, this is a very unusual piece. Crafted from wood, they’ve been loved & played with & bear the marks of time.
