freepeople @sarmellow The 100% Nylon fabrication will make this poncho water resistant but probably not totally waterproof -- perfect for a lightly rainy or windy day!

freepeople @jennaswaney you can fold this up into a bag and it will have a strap to carry it. Not sure it would be a purse exactly, don't think you can put anything else in there.
