starraether Would you be so kind as supposed to picture of the fabric content tag

dashingfox @starraether Hello, I added a picture but it does not say what the fabric is

starraether
starraether I see what you're saying because it's rather old and the fabric content is pretty much indiscernible -- but what do you think it might be?

dashingfox
dashingfox @starraether Um I might guess cotton

starraether
starraether So may I ask, are those little "vintage spots" in some of the pictures posted?
Dec 29Reply
dashingfox
dashingfox @starraether I pulled the shirt out to look at the spots and the only ones I am seeing are the two small ones on the back and I’m not sure they almost look like the thread was spotted. But I did notice the arm pits have smoke pulled threads not a hole but I did add some pictures

starraether So the underarm seams just need to be stitched up a few inches on each side where the seams are compromised would you say?
Dec 29Reply
dashingfox
dashingfox @starraether Yes I think they could easily be just stitched they are not a hole but like one layer of the double layer is pulled if that make sense
Dec 29Reply
starraether
starraether I think what you are saying is it's a double seam and the outer seam is undone and needs to be re-stitched
