This platform is filled with them. Ask questions. Do your research. Scan listings. Know the market price for what you want to buy. A real Chanel bag for $250? Not a chance. Many scammers price under $500 to dodge authentication and their mail scam.
Authenticate even if Posh authenticates because I’ve gotten fakes. Scammers and fakes are sophisticated.
I only buy from people I trust or who have an extensive selling history. If the $$ is too good to be true, it is. Especially for in-demand items.

THANK YOU for this. Was looking at some LM listings and was thinking too good to be true…and could swear I recognized photos. Glad to know it’s not just me! I will share to amplify!

@razuc thank you! Sadly, there exist on nearly every single high-value designer. I’ve heard of people getting scammed first-hand and Poshmark does not care. I’ve never seen it this horrific on any other platform.
If a seller hasn’t sold before, point-blank, I never buy from them.

Yeah, tired of this site and it’s lack of transparency or accountability. I messaged them on IG about why they can’t post about THESE kind of issues rather than some stupid outfit of the day and they never respond. I hope they get slapped with a class action suit honestly. Im pretty much done supporting them and selling on here. Plan to focus on supporting Noihsaf.

@devoette exactly! With all the fakes sold (I got a fake Celine that I recently returned), I’m wondering when brands will go after the for profiting off fake bag sales, which is ILLEGAL. All they care about is their 20%. It’s a joke. No other site has this problem on such a level. Now, I only buy from a handful of sellers and I go to Noihsaf. No lowballing. Good quality.

@cabooklover You are saying every closet name in these photos of yours & on this post is a scammer?
findsbyfelicia
@amaandaa yes.

Yup. I am finding the same issues. Bought two Toteme items that I realized were fake after the purchases because I saw the same things you mentioned. The items arrived a weak days after purchase, I opened cases and both scammers said “ok, sorry. Please send back.” I’m pretty sure they’re buying dupes from Ali Express and passing them off as real. Poshmark isn’t serious about shutting them down. They just wait for a case to be opened and handle things after-the-fact. Thank you for sharing.
