Gorgeous antique belt buckle from the late 1800s to very early 1900s It has an ornate raised design accented by two amethyst purple color glass cabochons. The two sides link together with a clasp, put the hook part into the slot to fasten. This buckle is made of blackened color metal. Blackened finish on silver tone metal. It's in good preloved condition, normal minor wear, nothing major. Clasped, it measures approx 3 1/8". Each side measures approx 1 7/8" long x 1 1/2" wide.
