VINTAGE black velvet coat, lined in gold silk. Small. Needs repairs.

Stunning women’s black velvet full length coat. Was bought at a vintage shop in the east village in New York. It looks like the piece is from the 1920s to 1940s. It is PERFECT to wear over dresses for weddings and a night on the town when your standard coat kinda kills the vibe. Pure elegance. The inside is lined in gold silk but in the sleeves the silk has worn out and needs to be cut out or replaced. There is a button missing on the front and would need to be added and the velvet sown closed in that area. The back of the neck velvet has worn away a bit and there is a small water stain on the inside silk. Not trying to scare you as it’s a stunning vintage piece you can wear easily but a few repairs will make it the one of a kind glamorous couture it was meant to be.
