Well. What do those of us who bought into the too good to be true scam do now? Wait and then when it doesn’t ship, cancel the order? I just knew it was a scam but wasn’t sure how and took a chance and bought.

I say same with these over priced ridiculous sellers! Most of the items can still be found for retail with some searching. Sellers here gouging, it’s awful…don’t ever pay that kind of money for the items they are trying to sell for twice or more the value.

@rebeccaander327 I do enjoy posh. Of course it’s not perfect but like anywhere these days we have to be more careful & diligent in where we spend our money. I personally think it’s a great community of sellers, that’s why this is upsetting to me! There will always be someone trying to make money at ppls expense. It’s truly sad.

@littlelizzie76 they are usually sending the shipping label attached to junk mail that you will discard without even realizing, or mailing socks or something random in an Amazon bag and you receive without even realizing you are supposably receiving your

@littlelizzie76 posh purchase, then it shows delivered and if you don’t realize or report, they get the money in 3 days and you have to argue that you never received or got something else etc. This happened a lot around Christmas last year on several brands, Freebird, north face etc. very frustrating. Be aware.

@littlelizzie76 I know. It took posh so long to do something about it at Christmas time. I felt so bad for how many people got ripped off. They may want there info to sell as well, I’m not totally sure. It’s not like the $10 is that much $, but they just keep selling as many as they can, as quick as they can before they get shut down…

@littlelizzie76 I still don’t quite understand this pricing though. At Christmas time they were definitely under retail but instead of $200-$300 new Patagonia, they were selling for like $65 - $99 repeatedly as quick as they could do this is a very low price point? That’s why I wonder if it’s also for information to sell? Just very frustrating.

@temmlu Many times they will send cardboard in the box, but mostly they rely on people not accepting their packages. This is a scam seen all over Poshmark.

Thanks all for the very good info. Will be on lookout for my pkgs w/no MP inside. Not much I can do about them having my name/address. Reported to posh.All they said was to cancel orders. It was well after 3hr mark which they know so can’t cancel. So far they’ve not been helpful. I don’t know why they aren’t shutting them down. All you have to do is search MP, sort by “Just In” & there a ton of listings for $11 ⬇️ diff seller IDs…

…And to those ?? why anyone would “fall for it” & purchase-I’ve NEVER had issue w/anything I’ve purchased here & thought to myself I’m protected by Posh and my CC if/when I don’t receive the item so took a chance on about $75. I couldn’t think what the scam could possibly be but I guess my mind doesn’t work that way. Lesson learned. Sad to learn regularly how many scary/criminal people there are in this world. Thanks again for this post & for all helpful info!

This was so Informative authentic people selling authentic Magnolia Pearl must stay connected and share scammers names /accounts. We should have a list of suspected scammers somewhere on posh!with fake accounts If the account has no post has no sales experience or history I avoid them, I don’t counter offer.

yes ma'am many people are doing this kind of thing i was one that I bought a pair of snekers and they were copy so I had to move on it makes me upset one because people like me are working hard and always wanted to get something nice and you get it and it were fake but really dear at the end of the day I got blessed by God because I don't have to take advantage of anybody and always work with pride and help anyone. Anyway karma always comes and what goes around come around
