SOLD Laurence Dacade black leather Tamara ankle strap sandals, EU40, NWT, flaw

Laurence Dacade is a French luxury shoe designer whose love of shoes started at age 14, which seems kind of late to me (I was 7 when I first became obsessed). Nonetheless, her shoes are iconic, sexy, and according to her, evoke, "The sensualism of a sculpture and the desire to possess it. The shoe is not only an object made for walking but it's also an experimental tool of freedom." Well okay then, I'm 100% on board with that, clearly a woman after my own heart. After years of coveting a pair of Laurence Dacade boots, my first pair from this designer instead ended up being these adorable sandals with clear pvc straps, so it looks like you have hearts floating all over your feet. Simply exquisite. Sadly for me, I have a fairly high arch, so the middle strap is too tight while the bottom strap fits quite loose. Not sure how well PVC straps can stretch, so back in the box these went. If you have a slender and flexible arch combined with wider toes, these shoes would probably fit up to a size 9.5, definitely a size 9 with wide toes. But if, like me, you find many shoes uncomfortably tight across the arch, these will likely not fit well. They're marked EU40, the heel is a chunky and comfortable 3.75", and they arrived with a scratch on the inside of one heel, which I never bothered to get fixed as I couldn't wear them. Any decent shoe repair should be able to polish that out so that it's invisible. Apart from that, these are new in the box and unworn.
