This is a lovely antique carved bone necklace. It is definitely not ivory. It does not have the cross hatch markings of ivory nor is the grain as fine as ivory. The screw clasp works but the necklace has been restrung and the end knot is a little big to fit into the clasp. The clasp works fine you just have to pay attention when you screw it closed and dont screw it too tight. A couple of beads towards the back have stains on them as is common for these necklaces. But it is not obvious. The earrings are marked as gold filled. 17.5" long. largest bead is 11.5mm long. Earrings are 1/2" across.
