*Rare* Y2K Dior Oblique Trotter Pattern Embossed Patent Leather Mini Saddle Bag
The Oblique Pattern, which is Considered to be Dior’s Monogram, was Created in 1967 by French Fashion Designer Marc Bohan. He was the Creative Director of Dior from 1961 to 1989. In 1969 the Pattern was Incorporated into One of the Bags from Dior’s Haute Couture Collection. The Oblique Pattern was also Used to Decorate Dior’s Luggage Collection in 1971. In the Early 2000s, Under Creative Director John Galliano, the Oblique Pattern was Reintroduced and Incorporated in Streetwear and Saddle Bags. These are now referred to as Y2K.
Condition: Excellent Pre-Owned Condition; This Bag Shows Minimal Signs of Age and Wear Specific to Patent Leather, Minimal Creasing, Corner Wear and Edge Wear; No Discoloration, Tears, or Cracks. Minimal Scratches and Dulling of Hardware; Clean Inside and Out.
