The strap cannot be changed.
Inside there is a small zipper pouch on the outside wall, as well as a larger zipper pouch in the middle of the purse. There is a pouch sewn into the middle pouch, meant for cellphones. On the outside of the purse, there is one open slot pouch.

@kkw005 thank you. The purse is very small 9.5x7.5x4 inches. The strap is very long and I would have to have a shoemaker adjust. I would be willing to go to $20 with $9.99 shipping.
