I believe it is grosgrian silk but i am not sure. it is too small for me so I am selling. it is just a very very cool piece I wish I knew its history. appears to be well made. wear or repurpose. design details include: sailor collar faux wrap side pockets 3 buttons cuffs slight Balloon sleeve fully lined 18" from underarm to underarm laying flat 13.5" waist 56" long I'd say fits a size 4-6 no belt
