No doubt RL embodies the American dream, and in 2015 the collections were thoroughly devoted to the American west. Every single look would be at home in Aspen or Sundance. They were slouchy and muted, and low-slung, including this great, long knit ivory silk knit fringe trim tunic sweater, that is lovely and soft, and completely understated. Made in Italy, pullover style sweater, in a creamy luxe silk yarn, with beautiful pointelle details across the chest, sleeves, and back, and vertical intarsia laddered ribbing at the sides, with fringe edge detail. Simple details such as crew neck, long sleeves, ribbed knit trimmed collar, cuffs & hem, hits at the upper thigh. Completely neutral soft off-white tone, with all the detail and interest created by the beautifully textural, nuanced, and imperfect knitwork, and fringed trim.
