Chunky Masculine Puka

A fabulous chunky vibe on this rare shell puka necklace from Hawaii. Oversized shells in a melange of natural colors from cream to tan to brown blend and merge creating an oversized feel - but in a classy, neutral, prehistoric kind of way. Right on target for current trends, this piece is fluid- either gender can enjoy it. Coming in at just over 21 1/2” its a good length, and at 71 grams the weight is enough to speak to quality, but not enough to make it too heavy for comfortable wearing. Beach ready, it could also layer up with some style. This has been worn in the ocean in the past and shows wear consistent with being loved. True Vintage, probably early 90’s, with a silver toned barrel clasp and three silver toned beads. Some patina is showing on the beads. Strung on fishing line, holding up very well.
