alliehollis167@rbalbuena ahhhh okay Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it to me🙂! I made a trade deal w a lady that brought up the discounted shipping idea to me. But she didn’t explain it to me. So I totally agreed to it because it was lower shipping costs on my end, and what I believed was was more money in the the the sellers pocket.

alliehollis167@rbalbuena so the discounted shipping is $4.99 and reg shipping is $6.49. When I did it, I paid out of pocket the $6.50? Thank you for helping me understand this🙂!

rbalbuena@alliehollis167 I’m really sorry to hear what you’re going through. I think $17 with no discounted shipping is fair. After Poshmark takes their cut, I’ll be getting $13 and with offering discounted shipping would be even less.

alliehollis167@rbalbuena ohh okay, I didn’t know that. I wasn’t really sure how discounted shipping worked. Can you explain it to me so I know it works for me in the future? And yes, I’ll take the deal.

rbalbuena@alliehollis167 Thanks for understanding! If a seller offers discounted shipping then the seller has to absorb the cost and the price gets deducted from the sellers net earnings just like the Poshmark fees are. And yes, I’ll accept the deal! Thanks again so much for understanding!
