Gorgeous huge Sterling Silver and Turquoise ring is a show stopper! Bold with class and catchy. Six turquoise stones are set deep in saw edge bezels. Sterling balls share the stage giving the setting perfect texture and interest. A pretty black patina shows through also adds to its character. The Navajo traditional band has four forks securing it to the back.
This piece is from the mid 1980's.It is in excellent pre~loved condition. The stones are securely set. No flaws.
This is signed by the 20th century Navajo Silversmith James Shay. He is referenced in Barton Wright's book Hallmarks of the Southwest. His hallmark is deliberately misaligned initials "JS".
