bankerlady1969 Do these sandals run small by any chance? I normally wear a size 9 which I guess is a 39 in these shoes if yours are a 40 (9.5) and I am not sure if these would work for me. If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling these?

ma4450 I would say these run true to size - they fit a 40 (EU) from heel to toe with no extra space around the toes. They *might* fit size 9 (US) leaving extra space past the toes, but that's a personal style choice.. they're brand new, soft leather, beautiful foil-silver tone (bought last minute for a wedding but they arrived after I'd already left)

bankerlady1969 I am just afraid a 40(9.5) might be too big for me based on your description. If there is extra space at the end of the toe it would be easier to scuff the silver I think! Are they comfortable to wear? The heel doesn't slip around does it with very little back?

ma4450 It's hard to tell :[ they're comfortable at the right size, but you'd have to be sure they fit you..

bankerlady1969 @ma4450 I have a pair of wedge sandals with just straps in back like yours. From back of heel to end of toe they measure not quite 10.5 inches. When I stand or try to walk my heel slides back and there is about 3/4” shoe showing in front and they are sloppy when I walk. What does your shoes measure?

bankerlady1969 I took pictures of mine but can’t figure out how to send them to you. Upon checking again there is maybe 1/2 to 3/4 in showing when I stand or walk.

ma4450 Longest measurement from heel to toe is 8.75" The widest part of the sole measures 3.35" and the width right under the toes is about 2.2"

bankerlady1969 @ma4450 Are you measuring the bottom of the shoe or the inside foot bed? I am measuring the inside foot bed from back of heel to tip of toe and my size 9 measured 10 inches.

ma4450 The above was the measurement of the outer sole, which is a shaped wedge (narrowing toward the heel point). The inside footbed measures 10.25" long and 3.5" at the widest part

bankerlady1969 @ma4450 I am buying your shoes! All sources say the size 39 (9) are only 9.5”long. My foot is 10.25 which is what you said yours is so I am going to try them! Thanks so much for all your help-I really appreciate it!
