Long White Gemstone and Pearl Necklace in Gold

This long, rainbow moonstone necklace is a favourite style of mine. In this piece, I have combined flashy rainbow moonstone, cloudy ivory-coloured chalcedony, and several groups of freshwater pearls. The pearls vary in size, shape and colour, and contain both square, coin and rice shapes. Each bead is wire-wrapped to the next using strong gold filled wire, and the warm metal brings out the soft whites beautifully. There is no clasp; the necklace is long enough to fit right over your head. It may be worn alone, or layered with other chains for an elegant boho look. Necklace is approx. 28" (71cm) long. You will receive the exact necklace shown in my photos. Your jewellery will be packaged in a small gift box. Gift wrapping is available upon request. What is Gold-Filled? Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
