THIS BLACK HERMES LINDY 26 bag is as beautiful as it is difficult to find. Since its introduction in 2007, the Lindy bag has become a favorite among Hermes bags. This 26 size and the mini size are the most popular, so are the most difficult to find online in the resale market. This bag is the perfect style/size to use for an every day bag that can go from day to evening. The extremely soft Taurillon Clemence calfskin leather is comfortable against the body, yet wears extremely well. The two side handles are positioned to be more comfortable when held by the hand or over the arm than typical top handles that are positioned parallel to the longest direction of the handbag. The handles are rolled leather, for use as top handles, and a crossover top strap serves as a shoulder strap. Two external slip pockets are located just below the handles. Access the main compartment through either or both of the two zippers. The unlined inside compartment has a slip pocket on each side of the bag.
