@glam85 the marks on the wallet are on the interior and yes, it's just pen marks. The slip pockets are peeling a little. Still very much usable.
There is no peeling on the bag at all. It is in excellent condition. Only the wallet has call-outs. I believe what you were seeing was a reflection or lighting.
