appling1 Oh okay thanks. Are you saying if it's 27 waist then the measurement is half in inches? Good to know, but couldn't some pants be a little off by an inch? Precise measurements are important to fit comfortably, especially for me since I gain weight on my sides. :)

jessica10908 @appling1 Hi there! They are precise measurements, not guesstimates, not to worry. When the jeans are laid flat & measured straight across the waist it’s 13.5 inches. That means for the full waist measurement you multiply 13.5 in by 2 = 27 in. This is also a precise measurement. Every item in our shop that has measurements in the description are hand measured by one of us on staff…

jessica10908 @appling1 Most sellers give the “flat lay measurements” just as we have been doing for years. Idk how it would/could be off an entire inch though? I’m sorry. Most big clothing companies & small resellers will tell you to leave a little room for difference, but it wouldn’t be a drastic difference, like a whole inch. Maybe a quarter inch at best. Nothing that makes a huge difference. That’s the standard rule w/major corporate industry titans to small businesses like ours.
