Zipper pull on larger purse extends all the way from one side to bottom of other side for ease of getting into. Smaller measures approx. 8 inches wide, 5 inches top to bottom. Smooth almost pebble leather on larger purse and iconic cross pattern leather on smaller bag. Both have structure to stand upright on their own but neither is too stiff.
