Lighter color jeans of this length may have a tad bit of store dust on the bottom of the hems which will wash out. Rinsing just the bottoms sends the chemical residue from the manufacturing process up the jean. It all washes out. These are in excellent condition. UPDATE! I did rinse the hems of these! And, it did send the manufacturer chemical residue up the pant leg. These are guaranteed to wash out, or I will refund your purchase.
