@devoteeoflove It’ll be brand dependent. The older Mahan boots were made by Tony Lama and fit similarly.
Modern boots that are built more traditionally will likely have a similar fit. Hondo is one brand that still builds boots in a more traditional fashion.
That being said, lizard does not stretch the same as cowhide. You want some wiggle room, so a wider C width may be a better fit for some if they have a wider foot.
