The J.Crew Warwick coat is a classic, double-breasted topcoat made from an Italian stadium-cloth wool blend, known for its warmth without bulk. It features a below-the-knee length, a tailored fit that can run large, a notched lapel, and a back-waist tab inspired by a naval silhouette. The coat is lined, button-front, has flap welt pockets, and requires dry cleaning.
This is a size 0 and runs large (I typically wear a size 2 to 4 in J Crew coats/jackets).
The back vent is in tact. Never worn. Tag came off during a try on. See pictures for additional detail.

@minnsa hi there just checking back in on my precious question thanks

My apologies that I missed this! Would you like sleeve length? Shoulder to shoulder? Armpit to armpit? Length? Happy to provide! Thank you for pinging me again.

I’m thinking armpit to armpit and maybe armpit to bottom of sleeve. Thanks I’m usually an xs I read this runs big but I want to be able to wear a sweater underneath
I read your description - does this fit you? Does it run big? I guess the measurements will help too but I’m just trying to get an idea. I’ve loved this coat since it came out last year.

Armpit to armpit is 17 inches. Armpit to sleeve measures 16 3/4 inches. It does fit me! I usually size down by one size in J Crew coats/jackets. I am 5 ft 4 and the length hits just under my knee. I was wearing my husband’s sweatshirt while trying it on. If you’d like, I can add a picture of myself wearing it. Just let me know!

I meant to add that since I sized down it is a proper fit for me and does not run large. I am between an XS and S in JCrew, typically XS.

A pic on you would be great thanks

I’m also 5’4” and love larger fitting coats lately so I can wear a sweater underneath and it’s not so “tailored”looking

Also just to clarify you said in description it runs large and in your comment a few up you said it does not run large? Just making sure I understand better thanks

My normal J Crew size in this coat was too large so I sized down to a zero, which is the item I am selling. It turns out I don’t love the fit on my frame but it is a gorgeous coat!

Thank you so much for the the extra pictures and measurements. When I measured a Tommy Hilfiger wool coat I have the measurements are similar but that fits me kind of tight like I can’t wear a thick sweater under it. And it feels more fitted than coats I have that measure an extra inch in the width. I’m so torn, you look around my size I’m 5’4” 114 lb. I don’t know if a size 2 would fit a little more oversized. Yet the coat looks plenty big on you with a big sweater underneath.

Also double checking your description says navy but the color further down the post after description says black. Is it navy ?

I apologize for any confusion, this coat is navy in color.
I understand your concern. We are pretty much the same size. I feel that I am a bit broad through the shoulder. In the picture I am wearing a cotton J Crew turtleneck sweater if that helps.

Thank you. Do you find it tight across chest? Also how do the arms fit? My Tommy one is quite snug on the arms unless you’re literally wearing a button down cotton shirt or a long sleeve tee inside.
I like how it hangs on the model in the first pic when it’s open - I don’t want to be squeezed into it. It looks plenty roomy on you - however the measurements are making me nervous. I’ve only recently started wearing stuff more oversized and I’m loving the less tailored look.

You must be sick of all my questions sorry

I also have that cotton j crew turtleneck and it’s got thickness to it for sure

I couldn’t fit in my Tommy coat with that sweater on so that’s why the measurements are throwing me off

It is comfortable across the chest when I sit (with it buttoned). It doesn’t feel too snug on my arms. My arms are fairly thin. I hope that helps!
