These shoes do have great arch support and a cushioned insole. The leather quality is excellent. The deep red color is truly gorgeous. I just do not have the right feet to wear pointed toe shoes. The mid-heel height (almost 3 inches) is high enough to create an elegant silhouette, but low enough to be good for walking around. The size is true to size. They are listed as having a "roomy" width, which seems to be about halfway between a wide width and a standard width. They are in almost-new condition, as I only wore them five times, always indoors.
