Vintage Christian Dior silk scarf featuring a bold botanical/floral print in vibrant jewel tones with classic Dior branding. This scarf is in very good vintage condition with a rolled hem and only light signs of gentle wear (please see photos, as they are part of the description). No composition label. Approx. 32" x 31" (approx. 81.3 cm x 78.7 cm). Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings.

However, based on the hand feel, weight, and weave, it has the characteristics of silk commonly used in vintage Christian Dior scarves.

jillian0404 In lower right corner you can see the “Christian Dior” signature inside a framed cartouche. That style of signature is consistent with vintage Dior, particularly from the 1970s–1990s. A few things about it are good signs: • Integrated into the design – it’s printed as part of the artwork rather than stamped later. • Clean serif lettering – the typography matches Dior’s classic script used on scarves. That type of glow is typical of silk, which was the fabric most commonly used for vintage scarves by Christian Dior.Soft reflection of light instead of a glossy glare (polyester often looks shinier and flatter). • Crisp, highly detailed screen printing — silk takes dye exceptionally well, which helps produce the sharp botanical details seen here.
