Mitra Abedi Haute Couture Jacket With Raised Velvet Pattern On Sheer Background

This stunning open front jacket features coloured raised velvet "catkins" or spring glaucous willows, on a sheer black background. It has shoulder pads for definition. It measures Shoulder to shoulder 15" Bust 40" Hips 44" Sleeves 16" Length 29". It is in very good condition. Although it has no country of origin, or fabric composition labels, it is likely from Persia, perhaps Iran. It should be treated as silk. Circa probably 1990s.
