Exquisite, limited edition, special occasion suit (wedding/cocktails/dinner). 100% silk with a touch of wool in the jacket for texture. Immaculate tailoring - the jacket is exceptionally comfortable, designed to hold its shape through long receptions and dinners. Purchased at Nieman Marcus NY in advance for a wedding then lost weight as I retired from business last year and relocated to Florida. The local tailor just doesn't want to try downsizing the suit to size 6. and Neiman Marcus say I have to take it personally back to a store and even they won't promise they could do such a huge reduction in size. That said, the jacket will take minor fitting alterations, and at time of purchase Neiman Marcus tailored the skirt to fit me and I asked them to leave plenty of seam allowance in case I needed to let it out in the future. The heavy weight silk skirt has fabulous drape. Jacket measurements: shoulder seam to shoulder seam 16"; chest circumference 44"; length mid shoulder to base 23.5"; sleeve 24". Skirt measurements: Waist 31"; hips 41"; length 28". Plenty of seam allowance to increase by an inch or possibly two, waist, hips and length. Outfit is NEW and never worn; I have the receipt but not the sales tags.
