VTG‎ Better Homes and Gardens New Cookbook 5th Printing 1960s Ring Binder

Vintage Better Homes and Gardens “New Cook Book” Revised Edition Fifth Printing Meredith Press 5 Ring Binder Meal Planning Nutrition I’m not sure of the year it was printed, the first page it does state “Revised Edition, Fifth Printing”. From my research, it’s from the 1960s. The writing and vintage vibe will make you smile!!! My grandmother was the original owner and I’ve been storing it for many years in my kitchen cabinet. This is obviously a used book. It’s not perfect but it’s packed with more than recipes. The photos will bring you back in time. Meal planning & nutrition Fruit and vegetables canning calendar Short cuts and techniques Retro appetizers- easy & sounds amazing! Outdoor cooking/ Gearing up for a BBQ I’ll point out the flaws- The cover is attached but the front does have a split, not all the way through. *see last 2 photos * The inside hard cover has a few spills along the yellow portion edge * photo #5 &6 * The last 2 pages of the index are torn out but exist. Clear page protectors would do the trick. I recently paged through before listing it and feel there is a lot of old school information we should know but don’t know where to look online. This book will keep you busy for days and might be a great way to unwind after a crazy day at work. ** can’t be bundled due to weight**
