This is a handmade custom vintage Serape inspired black suede leather fringe vest with a cotton fabric woven as the back of the vest on. Dobby loom. This vest was handmade in India. The Cotton is a textured serape inspired textile featuring intricate, small-scale geometric patterns that was woven directly into the suede on a dobby loom. The Dobby fabric, Known for its rough texture, durable, & breathable quality, is frequently used for rustic apparel. The serape-inspired stripes in this vest are reminiscent of traditional Mexican/South American textiles.
