This is a wonderful pair of vintage ladies' long black leather evening gloves that are unused and still attached with their original thread. They are in excellent condition as they are unused. They are decorated with cutwork that is filled with weblike lace and with leaf forms that are stitch embroidered. The interior of the gloves are stamped but are difficult to make out. I believe that they date to the 1950s and are most likely of Italian manufacture - the leather is of excellent quality and these came with a lot of unused gloves, some of which were marked Italy. Size: Most of the gloves in the lot were size 7 - I wear a size 7 and these are snug on my hands, perhaps because they are new and also long. That being said, I would be more comfortable sizing these as a size 6 3/4. They have a length of 15 1/4" to the middle finger and a palm width of 2 7/8". This is a wonderful pair of vintage gloves, very nice quality - you can't buy quality leather evening gloves like this anymore without spending a small fortune.... Elegant long black leather gloves.
