The "La Marine en Bois" (The Wooden Marine) motif was originally designed by the prolific Hermès artist Hugo Grygkar and was first issued in 1957. This design features a pink border nautical theme with four quadrants displaying various tall ships and sailing vessels flying flags of several different countries. A central diamond-shaped emblem depicts an anchor and dolphins, while tridents extend into the corners. Material: 100% silk twill.
