This majestic handcrafted Equestrian Art figurine of a rearing stallion glossy black with a striking blue-green mane. The mane was with a flowing drip glaze called "Reactive Glaze, that is a hallmark of Blue Mountain Pottery (BMP) and involves using "reflowing" or dripping glazes, usually in teal-green or black, on red clay. The renowned pottery was founded in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada in 1953 and sadly closed its doors in 2004.
