@tammyschuetz Hi! The chain is 18 in. But I can always make a longer or shorter one if preferred. I handmade everything in my shop. This necklace is 995 fine silver bezel around the shell and 925 sterling silver accents and chain. Nothing is plated or filled on this item or any item around this price. My listing that are cheaper materials are $20 or less
