Stunning silk chiffon gown. Hand sewn with gathered shoulders and satin appliqué details in the bodice. Adjustable tie. Purchased at a high end vintage shop for $1100.00. Satin slip dress purchased separately, included in this purchase. Sheer silk fabric. Very delicate. Very good vintage condition, but please note, this dress is from the 1930's and does have imperfections. Please refer to the listing photos for details. I had a blush pink netting sewn in the underarm area to allow for undergarments. This can easily be removed as it was professionally hand stitched by a tailor. This is a full length gown on me and I am 5'8" for reference and wore a 3" heel. Very ethereal and romantic. I can provide approximate measurements if you are interested. I normally wear a medium size with flat measurements 19", 14", 20". All items in my closet are gently used unless otherwise stated. Model photos are for fit and style reference only. I do my best to call out any noticeable flaws or notable wear in my items. Please reach out if you have any questions. I am open to reasonable offers. Create a bundle to save on shipping and receive a discount for multiple items. I ship with quality reusable packaging to reduce waste. Thanks for looking:)

rinduvall Hello! I usually have a 38” bust, 30” waist, and 38” hips. Would my waist be able to fit into this?

elizabea47 @rinduvall Hello:). I think it would be fine. The waist is loose and has a tie in the back to fit it as close as you would like. I can measure it flat laid for you to be sure. However, I won’t be able to do so until Sunday. Please let me know if that works for you. Thanks for your interest:)

rinduvall @elizabea47 SO Exciting!! Yes I would so appreciate that. And when you took it to your tailor, did she think it was in good (as in not too fragile with the silk fibers breaking) condition? I’m hoping to wear it for my wedding reception and am hoping it’s strong enough to endure a full night of wear! Thank you for measuring for me, I’ll look forward to hearing back from you on Sunday!

elizabea47 @rinduvall Thanks for being patient:). She did hem it for me because it was VERY long and uneven. I hand washed it and pressed it with my iron and it survived both of those adventures. I will take close up photos of the hem and mended bits and have a better overall video for you to see. It has amazing movement in the skirt. That is what sold me:)

elizabea47 @rinduvall . If you add it to your bundle, I can message you there. Sometimes the communication gets cut off if there are too many. Not really sure why. Thanks again!
