From an early 2017 collection, this maxi dress features a deeply romantic-meets-retro floral print in shades of pink, blue, and green amidst a plum colored backdrop. Sleeves are elasticized, and skirt is tiered. Waistline is more empire situated, and there’s a ruffle along the color. Dress is 100% cotton. It slips on overhead and has a fabric covered button at the neckline along with a series of fabric covered buttons on the wearer’s left side. The loops are elasticized, so it’s relatively easy to get on. It feels like an archival piece once on - so romantic, beautiful, and versatile. I’d be saving this if I had a daughter to pass it down to. Can be dressed down with a woven bag and slides for going to the farmers market on a Sunday morning or dressed up with a kitten heel for a summer or early fall wedding. It was worn only once and hand-washed. It’s in excellent used condition, although upon getting it out from storage I noticed a couple of the buttons along the side are a little loose. Cotton is the absolute softest and semi-sheer. Wearing with nude cotton boyshorts and bralette here; for more coverage, recommend pairing with a nude slip. Fit is true to size; if you normally identity as an XS or US size 2, this should fit. Dress just touches the floor on me at around 5’5, so it’s best with a heel if you’re shorter.
