Classic, timeless St. John two-piece Santana knit skirt set in black with ivory accents. Though from different St. John lines, these pieces were found together and coordinate beautifully, with the same size (6), color, and knit weight, making them an elegant, cohesive outfit.
The jacket is from St. John Collection by Marie Gray, featuring a structured silhouette and signature cream ivory detailing at the hem. The skirt is from St. John Basics, a clean, minimalist black knit pencil skirt with an elastic waistband, flattering midi length and rear slit.
Both pieces are crafted in St. John's signature high-quality knit, known for its weight, stretch, and polished drape. Fabric content tags are absent, which is common for St. John pieces of this era.
Details:
Jacket line: St. John Collection by Marie Gray (Spring 2001)
Skirt line: St. John Basics (Cruise 2003)
Size: 6 (both pieces)
Condition: Very good vintage with a few minor imperfections. Has a couple tiny spots on the sleeve cuff, see photos. Some stitching has come undone on the inside of the jacket hem, as well as the slit in the skirt, but it doesn't show while wearing. Stitching at the top of the slit is a little loose. Slight hanger indent on the skirt, which could likely be steamed out. Jacket has a couple minor snags.
