The Gilbert’s for TALLY vintage double breasted high ruffled neck taffeta top S

This gorgeous crisp White taffeta or satin double breasted top or jacket comes with tight accordion pleated trim to create a high neck and ruffled bottom hem line. Fully lined and dead stock. Sold at Dayton’s and likely late 1970s early 80s style. It is a cross between western and Victorian, and I could also see it being part of your bridal ensemble. No stretch in the fabric. Length measures approximately 18 1/2 inches. Waist measured above the ruffle is approximately 14 and pit to pit comes in around 17 to 18 inches. The large poof sleeves are three-quarter length. slight yellowing at the back of shoulders but it looks like surface dirt that could easily be taken care of at the dry cleaners. Otherwise no callouts.
