There’s a reason why Wirecutter named Brooke Callahan’s pants (and by extension shorts?) it’s best for summer. Super comfortable, cool, long if you want them or rolled up high. I’ve lived in these styles but shrank a size. The rise is on the low side but comfortable. All cotton, no elastic or pockets. These have been cold-water washed and hung to dry. They fold up nicely for travel and keep their shape. These and the other pairs listed may be a little faded, but otherwise great shape since Maine summers are short.
