I don’t even know what to say about this piece, it is absolutely stunning. It’s a handmade and fully lined (even the pockets) leather fringe jacket with hand beaded flower designs. The jacket has fringe on the chest and on the hem, it also has fringe across the back, over the shoulders and down the arms. It fastens in the middle with leather ties. There are a few very tiny imperfections on the leather (see photos) but they don’t draw notice and this is an old piece- for vintage the quality is impeccable. This is such a special piece. Are you going to be the one to bring it home today? Material & Technique: Hand-stitched tiny seed beads forming a raised, vibrant multi-colored symmetrical floral motif on a tanned buckskin or suede leather background with fringe. Cultural Motif: Often referred to as "flower beadwork," these symmetrical woodland and prairie floral designs hold deep cultural significance across various First Nations and Métis communities
