Worn maybe a handful of times. One flaw being significant peeling of the PU interior lining, shown in photos, but easily removed. The inside of these Lucky Brand boots is peeling because the interior lining is made of synthetic faux leather (polyurethane/PU), even though the exterior upper is made of real genuine leather. Because real leather does not peel or delaminate, this issue is strictly confined to the synthetic material used on the inside. How to Deal with it… Once hydrolysis begins, it cannot be stopped or permanently reversed. However, you can make the boots wearable again by “The Wire Brush Method”. The most practical solution is to intentionally scrape away the rest of the peeling material. Use a stiff nylon brush, fine-grit sandpaper, or a dry kitchen sponge to aggressively scrub the inside until all the loose plastic flakes off. This leaves behind a soft, non-peeling fabric substrate that won't ruin your socks. **Sold as is.**
